Commodity Flow Survey 1997-2017

Once the data has been cleaned and organized, the data from each year is merged into one dataset with origin and destination. These datasets can be used to create visualizations.

note: due to limitations regarding suppression of data fields, the filters can only be chosen either by commodity type or by mode of transportation. All estimates reported are for either "All Commodities" or "All Modes"

Tables of Commodity Flow

These are the origin and destination tables. The Value is in millions, Ton is in thousands, Ton-Miles are in millions and Average miles is per shipment. They can be filtered by commodity type, mode of transportation, and year. The states can be filtered on the individual tables.
