Bikeshare and E-scooter data

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) compiles bikeshare (docked and dockless) and e-scooter data for U.S. systems. Data include:
  • Systems and locations by year,
  • System suspensions and closures by month during 2020,
  • Locations of docked bikeshare stations by year, and 
  • Number of docked bikeshare trips by month since 2019.

Local Area Transportation Characteristics by Household

Estimates of average weekday household person trips, vehicle trips, person miles traveled, and vehicle miles traveled (per day), for all Census tracts in the U.S.
Frequency: Updated when new NHTS data released

Intermodal Passenger Connectivity Database

Nationwide database of passenger transportation facilities and docked bikeshare stations, with data on the availability of connections among the various scheduled public transportation modes at each facility.

Access to Intercity Transportation in Rural Areas

Percent of the rural population with access to scheduled air (commercial), intercity bus, and intercity rail transportation for the years 2006, 2012, and 2018.

General Transit Feed Specification 

Public transportation schedules and associated geographic information (static)
